Learn How To Make Money With A Blog

By Debra Wallace

There are so many people who tell one how much money blogging can make. However, a lot of these people don't tell the user how much time goes into the project. They also don't the person that it takes time to build this up and to have patience. Learning how to make money with a blog is something that you need to concentrate on before diving into.

The first thing is to plan about what you want to blog about. You may already be blogging or you have a website about your offline business. When you start off, it is tricky to know what direction to go in. But one thing is true, and that relates to your skills and your talents. It can work very well when you apply what you know to your blog.

For example, a carpenter can create a video blog about various projects that he has on the go. A lawyer who wants to advertise his or her business may want to write about the problems that will come up and how you can solve them with a lawyer. At the same time, by blogging, you are bringing across your voice and your personality.

It will involve looking at keywords and finding out more about how successful they are. Have a look at other blogs and how successful they are. Have a niche which is specific, but not too specific which only creates a small amount of people. For example, tea cups with flowers painted on them would be too small. You could broaden this to tea cups. Have a look at keywords which you can use with the word.

When your blog is starts to take off, it can be a good idea to start to monetize it. There are different ways to experiment with this. Google Adsense is the primary way that most people will turn to. However, there are other choices available. These are smaller companies, but they suit different niches so it is important to experiment. It is also a good idea to have a look at private advertising because you have a chance to set your own rates.

Your social media icons should be visible. However, don't be too pushy with pop-ups which enforce the user to subscribe or to follow the blog. You can ask them to share after a post, but it will discourage them to follow you when there is anything more than this. Posting regularly on social media is also important. It can be a lot of work, but you have apps which help you get this done all at once. You may not need to have all of the social media platforms available.

A niche is important for one to create for whatever you are blogging about or reviewing. For example, you can't blog about a great smartwatch one day and the next day you will blog about an aspect of psychology. At the end of the day, you need to attract a certain type of person. Even if you a particular topic in mind, such as clothing, it is a good idea to break this down into women's clothing or sunglasses, for example.

Every website should be well planned. Many posts concentrate on images and videos. This will, again depend on the type of content that you are concentrating on. The person should feel connected to what you are blogging about. When you are just starting off, it is never a good idea to slap adverts on your page. There are many different types of adverts, but one shouldn't do this in the beginning.
