The Disney Tours You Need To Know About

By Mark Russell

Parents and kids the world over dream of a vacation in either Anaheim, where Disneyland is, or Orlando, home of Disneyworld. You can visit the multiple parks at either location and stay in their plush resorts, but if you do it alone, your access is limited. However, if you take one of many Disney tours available at each park, you can have an experience that most guests simply do not get to have, while making memories that will last a lifetime.

If you are visiting Orlando, there are several Disney parks to choose from. All of them have these elaborate underground tunnels called utilidor tunnels, which allow them to get from one side of the space to the other without being seen. Tour these and many more in the behind the scenes tour available at several of the Orlando area parks.

For families that love elephants, there are several at the Animal Kingdom park. However, if they really love elephants, consider taking the Caring for Giants tour, which lets you get much closer than the exhibit would usually allow, while also teaching about their habitats and habits.

Every family has at least one Star Wars fan, and many have a full family of fans. Either way, they should check out the Star Wars Guided Tour at Hollywood Studios. You get prime seating for all the live shows with your favorite characters, and a Path of the Jedi film screening. Let your 12 and under kid go to Jedi training, and then eat a themed meal as part of the tour, along with tons of other activities and attractions.

A lot of families take a long weekend or a full week in order to have enough time to see each and every one of the Disney parks in the Orlando metro area. But if you want a much quicker peek, you can go on the Ultimate Day of Thrills VIP tour. The VIP part is quite important here, as you get a private tour guide who sees to all your needs for the entire day. They will even ride the rides with you if you would like, and then happily escort you across Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

When in the Anaheim, California area, you can take the Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour, which gives you a historical view of the park and how it came to be what it is today. Then eat from the Jolly Holiday Bakery, which is famously located at Main Street USA. Before you go, make sure to get your collectible pin.

The Resort VIP tour is available to guests of the resort, and gives you access to guide tours for California Adventure Park as well as Disneyland, so that you do not miss anything. As part of this program, you do not have to stand in line for many attractions, since you get priority access to them. You also get reserved seating at many shows and unlimited picture downloads with the PhotoPass that comes as part of this exciting package.

The creator of all of this, Walt Disney, loved trains. He has a special parlor car called Lilly Belle that only people who take the Grand Circle Tour get to ride, You also get a collectible and free snack while take your ride around the park.,
